Anita Harris is an award-winning communications strategist specializing in editorial content, media relations, and other thought leadership services for clients in health, science , technology and education.

Her client list includes the Cochrane Collaboration, EBD Group, The Forsyth Institute, Genzyme Biosurgery, Harvard University, MIT, NuGEN, Scientia Advisors (now Precision for Medicine), Stemgent, and TauRx, among others. Anita has won three prestigious Public Relations Society of America Bell Ringer Awards and numerous International Communicator Awards.

A former national journalist, Anita covered health, science and technology for the MacNeil-Lehrer Report (now the NewsHour) of PBS, and later handled public affairs for the Harvard School of Public Health. She has taught at Harvard,Yale and Tufts Universities, at Simmons College, and in the MBA Program at Babson College.

Richard Anderson

Richard Anderson is a London-based communications professional with more than 20 years experience in healthcare and life science. His specialization includes global PR & communications, corporate communications, strategic marketing, advertising & branding.

Richard has led product and corporate communications programs for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients including Genzyme, Roche, Amgen, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer and UCB Pharma, in the UK, across Europe and globally. For six years, he managed the PR account of Agilent Technologies in Europe. A co-founder of Sciad Communications, Richard has also served as Managing Director of the healthcare practice at the Bell-Pottinger agency in London for five years. Previously, he founded and, for 15 years, ran De Facto, an international healthcare PR agency.

Michael Flint, Metropolis Creative

Mike is an award-winning web and print designer, with specialties in branding and integrated marketing. The founder of Boston’s Metropolis Design, he has worked with clients in industries ranging from tech, biotech and telecommunications to retail and nonprofit, in a wide range of styles. Mike is currently an instructor at Northeastern University and has taught at Bentley University. Speaking engagements include The Boston Chamber of Commerce, the Mass Health Data Consortium, and The Enterprise Center. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and has won numerous design awards.

Elizabeth’s passion is to write about science and technology advances for a general audience. For more than 20 years she did just that at MIT where, among other positions, she was chief science writer for the MIT News Office. In addition to writing hundreds of press releases about everything from a robotic boat inspired by penguins to a new technique for monitoring the fetal heartbeat, she proactively shared the news with journalists from around the world. She also managed the MIT News Office’s planning for Nobel Prizes awarded to MIT faculty, putting those practices into place and writing press releases for five MIT winners. Now a science writer and publicist, her clients include MIT, Texas A&M, UC Davis, and BioBright (a startup creating tools for the smart laboratory of the future). Elizabeth is a graduate of Cornell University with a degree in biology.
